Cinderella’s Holiday Wish

Throughout the holiday season, a special holiday stage show and lighting spectacle will combine to turn Cinderella’s Castle at Disney’s Magic Kingdom Park into a glimmering, shimmering ice palace!

It all begins with the “Show before the Glow,” a special holiday fairy tale featuring Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse and all of your favorite Disney characters on stage in front of the castle on Main Street USA. While the characters debate what to do with the dark, unadorned castle for the holidays, the fairy Godmother appears and insists that Cinderella should make the ultimate decision.

When Cinderella arrives, she wishes that her castle could sparkle...just like her glass slippers. Then, with a wave of fairy Godmother’s wand, Cinderella's wish comes true as the castle illuminates with 200,000 tiny white lights, creating a shimmering look of ice and snow!

This visual spectacular in the Magic Kingdom takes place every evening throughout the holiday season.
